Tonsillitis can be described as an infection of the tonsils which most commonly caused due to the viral or bacterial infection. In general cases the job of the tonsils is to fight against various types of germs that are came in through your mouth as well as your nose. But sometimes bacteria or some virus effects on the tonsils or infect them, so whenever it happens on you it can be described as tonsillitis.

Possible Reason of Tonsillitis:

In the following segment I am giving some possible and well known reason of Tonsillitis, just follow that:

  • Group A Streptococcus:

It is a common bacteria, which may cause for the strep throat or throat infection in one to five people including the adult also.

  • Different types of respiratory viruses:

Various respiratory viruses especially the cold and flu viruses always account for the most general causes of tonsillitis. Even these types of infections sometimes can milder than the bacterial infection, but at that moment in general case it is too much difficult to tell the difference between a viral and bacterial infection.  Some well known cold and flu viruses are influenza, rhinovirus, respiratory syncytial virus, corona virus and adenovirus.

  • Infections on mononucleosis:

This kind of infection may cause by the Epstein Barr virus, which are also quite be able to produce the symptoms of tonsillitis, most of the cases in children.

Moreover herpes simplex virus and cytomegalovirus may also be the caused for this disease.

Curse of Tonsillitis:

The most common effect of tonsillitis is a sore throat. But in general it also has been found due to the common nerves of the throat with the ears the pain often moved towards the ears. In the following there are some other curs of tonsillitis which the patient may experience, just take a look at that:

  • Chills
  • Redder tonsils.
  • Chance of fever
  • Distortion on the voice.
  • Swollen glands in the neck area.
  • Halitosis
  • Coatings of the grayish color on the tonsils.
